Top Gear Spotted Filming In Bolton – Where Paddy McGuinness Grew Up

Despite Series 28 of Top Gear only coming to an end last weekend, Paddy McGuinness, Freddie Flintoff, and Chris Harris are already back on the filming schedule. Paddy uploaded a video to his Instagram Wednesday afternoon, very excitedly telling his 1.4 million followers that the trio is heading to Bolton.

“We’ve been to Nepal, we’ve been to Peru, we’ve been to Borneo, but where are we tomorrow, lads? Look at the excitement. Bolton!” he shouts.

“They are buzzing. The capital of the UK, come on!”

Paddy grew up in Farnworth, Bolton, so obviously he’s excited to take his fellow presenters back to his own turf. As you can see from their faces sat on the sofa, Harris and Flintoff don’t look overly excited. The excitement (or lack thereof) continues in this snap of them at the town hall.

Paddy’s latest post to Instagram is a short but nevertheless hilarious video fo him waiting for Chris Harris to turn around and see him giving him two fingers. British humour at its finest. The accompanying caption lists the hashtag, “#smallmansyndrome”.

There are three cars involved in this stint of filming, and from photos we’ve seen (but can’t include or legal reasons, sorry), and a video embedded below, Paddy is driving a Tesla Model 3, Chris a BMW 3-Series, and Freddie a Volvo S60.

With Top Gear returning to our screens later this year, we can’t wait to see what they’ve got in store for us in the next series.
