Top Gear Reasonably Priced Car Now “Belongs to the People Of Wells”

It was the greatest moment in Jeremy Clarkson’s life as Cameron Diaz, fresh off her stunning victory against Tom Cruise, hugged Clarkson not once, not twice, but three times (as Jeremy would later point out). After being thrashed around by many celebrities, the Kia Cee’d “Reasonably Priced Car” has now been retired to the quiet life.

Nathan Willmott, owner of Webbs Garage in Wells bought the car for for the benefit of local charities.

“I thought it would be something really good to help put something back into the area – people can see it on charity days or maybe even get the chance to drive it on track days…It’s been driven by loads of famous people – it’s a bit of celebrity itself.”

The car still has the roll cage and five point harness inside, along with the Top Gear logo across the side doors. To complete the set, Willmott added a life sized cut out of The Stig.

“It’s great – it’s only got 7,000 miles on the clock. In a way it’s for the people of Wells and the surrounding area because we’ll make sure local charities get use it.”
