Jeremy Clarkson and his girlfriend Lisa Hogan have been spending the lockdown together and cosying up pretty comfortably it seems. Jeremy has recently opened up about their lockdown life of planting vegetables and chopping down trees, but who is Lisa Hogan?
Lisa Hogan was born in Dublin to former model Arlene Underwood and her husband Maurice Hogan. A budding actress, who was discovered by John Cleese in the early 1990’s when she was struggling to get her clothing business off the ground, and employed her as a researcher – thus giving Hogan her first foot in the door of the industry.
Her first role was in the 1997 comedy film, Fierce Creatures, which featured John Cleese, Jamie Lee Curtis and Michael Palin. She played the role of the Sea Lion Keeper and featured in a scene with Ronnie Corbett.
Lisa is 6 ft 2 inches tall, which sets her up nicely for Jezza who is 6ft 5 inches. She is also a mother of three and is known to previously had a relationship with Baron Steven Bentinck, who is the nephew of Baron Heini von Thyssen, a Madrid based billionaire who owns one of the finest private art collections in the world.
Hogan, who’s day job is now developing movie scripts, survived a near death experience back when she was an actress. On her way to Pinewood Studios in 1996, the Learjet private plane she was travelling in overshot the runway at RAF Northolt and crashed in he A40 in west London and collided with a van. Hogan came out o the unharmed and attributes this to curling up in a ball seconds before impact, if she hadn’t, she would have lost both her feet because the floor under her seat buckled.
