The Grand Tour: Jeremy Clarkson Seems Annoyed With Amazon As Release Date Still Not Revealed

We’ve been waiting for information on The Grand Tour: Madagascar Special for what seems like a lifetime now, and Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May are certainly under pressure to give the fans some answers. Even more so since IMDB published the wrong release date earlier this year, teasing fans in the process.

It’s no shock that a quick Twitter search comes up with lots of questions aimed at the three presenters, with The Grand Tour even trying to suppress fan’s wavering patience with an update in July.

Now, however, it seems as though the presenters, specifically Clarkson, are getting fed up with the fact that the release date for the next episode still hasn’t been revealed, despite the episode being edited and ready for release in Amazon’s hands. When a fan tweets Clarkson to ask about a date, he answered simply, but with what seemed to be with annoyance at the streaming company.

In a past interview alongside Andy Wilman, Clarkson has stated that the episode is edited and ready to be published by Amazon. Of course, Amazon is going to wait for the best time to publish the episode when they feel they’re going to get the largest return, which isn’t now. Right now Amazon is putting its focus on The Boys. I’d expect we’ll have to finish that, and Amazon Prime Day, before we see anything more of The Grand Tour, in a move to maintain Prime members and boost sales.

We will of course keep you updated as we hear more from The Grand Tour’s PR team.
