The Grand Tour Insults The Daily Mail During Funniest Moment Of Season 3

We know each of The Grand Tour trio aren’t afraid to insult people, or companies, or countries, or groups of people, or other TV shows, or… the list goes on. But in the funniest moment of Season 3, James May insults one of the largest British media outlets on the internet, The Daily Mail.

As Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May ready themselves for their mission to become wildlife photographers, they each talk us through their camera and gear of choice. Richard pulls out pretty much one of everything, as he shows the other two enough kit to keep Jessops going for a month. They question how he’s going to have the time to set it all up before the animals run away, but quickly the conversation turns to Clarkson.

He pulls out a massive Canon EF 600mm f/4L IS II lens.

“Are you going to photograph animals in this country?” Hammond asks.

James point at the mammoth lense. “That’s a pervert camera,” he exclaims.

“It’s a Daily Mail camera, that’s what it is,” Jeremy replies.

“Exactly,” James hits back, “that’s what I meant!”

Ouch. But so true. Outlets have been under the knife recently since Karoline Flack’s suicide, so we think they deserve some stick from our favourite presenters. What’s your favourite moment of Season 3 of The Grand Tour? Tell us in the comments below…
