Richard Hammond: The Grand Tour Presenter Will Be Searching For An Apprentice In The Future

Richard Hammond, The Grand Tour presenter and more recently owner of his own car restoration company, The Smallest Cog, attended a jobs fair in Hereford late last month on April 27. While he wasn’t there to employ anyone, he praised the organisers of the event at the Shell Store in Rotherwas.

“I will be looking for an apprentice in the future,” he told the press.

“It’s difficult to keep a good business going in these times. I have a lot of respect for the businesses here today.

“A business is only as good as the people it employs,” said Hammond. He had empathy for job seekers and was impressed Landau was providing free shuttle buses to this out of town site.

“It’s tough right now, with the cost of living rising. With Landau helping people get here to find work, it is one less thing for job seekers to worry about.”

About 600 jobs were on offer at the fair with the potential to change lives, according to the presenter. And while he was followed by a camera crew – likely for his show, Richard Hammond’s Workshop – it hasn’t been confirmed why he was attending the event. We’ll likely see more as Series 2 of Richard Hammond’s Workshop is release either later this year or early 2023.
