Jeremy Clarkson: The Grand Tour Host Urges People To Get Vaccinated Following Controversial Interview

The Grand Tour host Jeremy Clarkson has urged his fans and followers to get vaccinated following a controversial column. He posted to Twitter to voice his opinion, with the post reaching over 150,000 likes – a number that not even his confirmation of Clarkson’s Farm Season 2 seemed to muster.

Jeremy Clarkson Hits Out At UK Government And “Communists at Sage” On Current COVID Regulations

He wrote:

“If you really want to know what I think: get vaccinated. It’s not a government plot. Governments can’t even mend pot holes.”

Fans were quick to agree with him, with one posting saying, “Loving it. Everyone please get it. I was hesitant to get both jab’s and felt nothing. No side effects.” Another fan also agreed, saying… “For once I agree with you. This whole conspiracy theory has to stop. The science says it all. It will not track you or poison you. It may very well save your life. Get vaxed!”

This tweet from Jeremy was the result of headlines after his latest interview with The Radio Times caused a bit of controversy after he was asked his opinion on the UK lockdowns, rules, and regulations.

“If it’s going to be forever, let’s open it up and if you die, you die.”

“When it started, I read up on pandemics and they tend to be four years long,” he said.

“I think the politicians should sometimes tell those communists at Sage to get back in their box. Let’s just all go through life with our fingers crossed and a smile on our face. I can see Boris doesn’t want to open it up and shut us back down again. But if it’s going to be four years … and who knows, it could be 40 years.”

Jeremy was one of the many who caught COVID over the Christmas holidays. Fortunately, while he was incredibly worried, his symptoms weren’t severe.
