Jeremy Clarkson Slams Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan After They Take Netflix Deal

The Grand Tour presenter Jeremy Clarkson has slammed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in a recent article after it was reported the two ex-royals have signed a deal with Netflix worth $100 million.

The presenter, who is currently being urged to release the next episode of the famous Amazon motoring show, was very clear that he doesn’t  “give a s***” about their upcoming projects.

“They will be drivel. £100 million to make shows and films that ‘inform and give hope’? Kill me.

“I’d be much better making their programmes, as I don’t give a s*** about anything they give a s*** about. Just awful.”

He was, however, adamant that this has nothing to do with politics or race:

“It’s got nothing to do with your politics. Are you a funny person?

“It doesn’t matter where you went to school, what colour you are, whether you’ve got breasts, a scrotum — it simply doesn’t matter. It’s, ‘Are you funny?’

“There was an old commissioner at the BBC who used to say, years ago, ‘Beware, beware, the man who cares’. If someone comes to sell me this documentary about something that they feel passionately about, it’ll be c***.

“All films made about something where the director is trying to get a message across, whether it’s diamonds in Africa or whatever, aren’t as good as they could have been if somebody couldn’t have given a s***.”

Clarkson’s comments came after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle released a statement regarding their new projects:

“Our lives, both independent of each other, and as a couple have allowed us to understand the power of the human spirit: of courage, resilience, and the need for connection,” they said.

“Through our work with diverse communities and their environments, to shining a light on people and causes around the world, our focus will be on creating content that informs but also gives hope.

“As new parents, making inspirational family programming is also important to us, as is powerful storytelling through a truthful and relatable lens.”
