Jeremy Clarkson of The Grand Tour and previously Top Gear is no stranger to calling someone out on Twitter on in his column. He’s also no stranger to a bit of controversy resulting from his writing. But when the presenters called out 16-yer old Greta Thunberg a ‘spoit brat’, his account blew up.
Thunberg had just finished her speech in front of the United Nations where she scalded them for ruining her childhood with climate change.

‘I shouldn’t be up here. I should be back in school on the other side of the ocean. Yet you all come to us for hope. How dare you. You have stolen my dreams and my childhood with your empty words,’ the Swedish girl remarked with tears in her eyes.
Clarkson has a different opinion, though, and believes that it isn’t in her best interest to be an activist at her age. He says how science will be what solves the problem ‘not scowling and having screaming ab-dabs every five minutes’.
‘So be a good girl, shut up and let them get on with it,’ Clarkson says. But Emily Clarkson, his daughter, was quickly making her side known on Twitter.
@JohnBishop100 @GretaThunberg Wouldn’t it be nice if she learned some manners.

She wasn’t afraid to bat back at her dad, either.
A woman doesn’t need to be polite to make a point 🙃

Do you support Greta Thunberg? Let us know what you think in the comments, but please keep things civil and polite. I know this can be a fiery subject for some.
