James May Reacts To Negative Comments On His Tesla Model S

Despite James May being known as the ‘boring one’ compared to his Grand Tour co-presenters Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond, he’s really the only one of the three which dislikes classic cars. Instead, he’s more interested in modern cars such as his Alpine A110 and his Ferrari 458 Speciale.

Being a motoring journalist first and foremost, he has a great interest in the future of driving, so over the last couple of years has owned both an electric car in the form of a Tesla Model S, and a hydrogen car in the shape of a Toyota Mirai.

He’s done several videos on these cars for DriveTribe, and now he’s released a video responding to the negative comments he’s received.

Our favourite comment to Captain Slow is likely, “nice to see James is wearing his mother’s curtains again.” Thanks Padraig for that bit of comedy gold.

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
