French Youtuber Crashes MINI JCW GP Racing Around House on Day of Delivery

Sometimes, you may forget that French people can also make Youtube videos. In a refreshing reminder of the country’s internet access Pog, one of their Youtube creators, made a very labor-intensive production to document the delivery of his new John Cooper Works Mini GP.

Spoiler alert: he crashes in his back yard, doing laps around his house.

The little Mini has a 2.0-liter turbo-four with 301 horsepower and 331 lb-ft of torque. It’s got a pretty impressive power boost of 73 horsepower and 95 lb-ft compared to the next most powerful Mini.

Unfortunately, that extra little bit of juice probably contributed to the roll.

There were only 3,000 of these Minis made. Let’s hope the others survive longer without a scratch. To be fair, few Minis will have as much fun as this one did in its short 23 mile first day.

Also, it doesn’t look like it was too damaged by the crash. The roof, hood, and windshield didn’t do well, but it could be fine, you never know.

I owe you the truth. I’m not going to hide anything from the most incredible day of my life, which also happens to almost’ve been my last. The delivery of my MINI JCW GP was exceptional, but what followed was even more exceptional. Judge me as you see fit, but have you ever had such an intense day?

My biggest cringe while watching this video, was the packing peanuts. You’d think that sort of thing would be the punishable by the guillotine in France, but apparently not.
