We haven’t heard enough about Emily Clarkson, Jeremy Clarson’s daughter, over the years. Obviously, being a car website, we tend to focus on The Grand Tour presenter, but Emily herself is a talented writer with a blog called Pretty Normal Me, and a published author with her latest book being, Can I Speak to Someone In Charge?.
In a recent interview with DriveTribe, she talks about what it was like to grow up with Jeremy as a father and how that has influenced her life, career, and interest in cars. As you may have expected, a lot of the chat is about cars, including what her first car was and what she’s currently driving. And yes, she gets a lot of help from her father when it comes to what car to buy.
As she says, “I’ve got the Encyclopaedia of Cars’ number in my phone, so that’s a useful contact to have. And I don’t know enough on my own…”. Who wouldn’t use that endless and knowledgable resource? Have a watch of the video below and get to know the daughter of one of the most legendary motoring journalists in the world.
Of course, this was filmed before the lockdown in the UK.
