Clarkson Impresses During New Series On Who Wants To Be A Millionaire

A new Series of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire has started again with Jeremy Clarkson at the helm, and unsurprisingly, people have been loving it.

The new series started on New Year’s Day and will be airing every day since then, but Clarkson already has come comments on how this series is going.

“I’m told I’ve been nicer to the contestants, but last year there were some very stupid contestants who didn’t warrant any niceness.

“This time they’ve been – by and large, with one or two exceptions – sparky and on-it and bright and deserving of a place in the chair.”

The extra lifeline ‘Ask the Host’ is still in play, too, despite Clarkson admitting that he was “entirely useless” at it last series.

Clarkson added, “to a certain extent, I’ve continued that tradition this time out.

“Occasionally I accidentally knew something, but not as often as I would have liked.

“It’s so annoying, because sometimes, you’ll get to the £125,000 question and you go, I know this. But they’ve already asked you and used the lifeline on something like the Kardashians that you don’t know.”

To his surprise, Clarkson actually got an Ask the Host question correct.

After explaining that this is merely a maths question, but he wasn’t a whizz at maths in school, he took a lucky guess and chose the correct answer, 20km.

“I feel as though I made a mountain out of a molehill there,” he joked. “I’m just going to ask the editors, can you cut it down? Make it look like I knew.”

As usual, you guys were as scathing as usual!
