Amazon Might Be Temporarily Replacing Jeremy Clarkson

After Jeremy Clarkson’s bout of pneumonia, there are rumours that they will be recording all of the tent segments in Chipping Norton, so as to reduce travel times for our favourite hammer wielding ape.

It has been confirmed that the location is booked by the trio’s company, W. Chump and Sons, but we’re yet to know whether this is just a back-up plan, or if it’s a definite site for filming.

To make things even weirder, Amazon have just released a job advert for a part time presenting position.

It starts like this: “Amazon Prime Video is seeking a host for an original TV series to be seen around the world.

“Currently, this is a temporary position to cover an absence due to pneumonia.”

Does this sound like someone we might know? Maybe this will set it in stone: “The successful applicant will join a long-established team of variously sized co-hosts and possess a strong knowledge of cars, metaphors and progressive rock music.”

Yep! That sounds like Clarkson to me!

So if you’re fancying a job working alongside the small and the slow, you may be in luck – unless this is a joke, which it is, so… sorry! But just in case it’s not, I must add that, “preference will be given to especially tall candidates with curly hair.” The rest is shown in the photo below!

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
