Amazon Behind Lack Of Clarkson’s Farm Series 2 According To Jeremy Clarkson

Fans have been loving Jeremy Clarkson’s new show, Clarkson’s Farm, where The Grand Tour presenter battled against the weather, COVID, and his own stupidity to create a successful farming business. It is pure brilliance, and a show that you should watch even if you’re not a fan of the big man behind the wheel.

But while fans have sung the show’s praises, with it not being the most highly reviewed show on Amazon Prime Video where it’s hosted, it’s been confirmed by Jeremy Clarkson that the show will not be coming back for a second series.

One viewer of the show wrote to Clarkson on Twitter: “Can you confirm If the rumours are true that they are shooting series 2?!”

“No. We aren’t. Write to Amazon, it’s their decision,” Jeremy responded solemnly.

This comes not long after Jeremy revealed that he was “hopeful” that another series of the show would be coming.

Fans will obviously be very sad to hear this news, especially as cameras were seen on his farm after the release of the show earlier this year, adding to the rumours.

With the Clarkson’s Farm family, Caleb, Charlie, Gerald, and Lisa all bringing so much to the show alongside Jeremy, it’s a real shame we won’t be seeing these guys together again, at least for the time being.

But, I must admit, I had wondered where Clarkson’s Farm would go for its second coming. The magic of the first show came with Jeremy learning the ropes, getting shouted at by Caleb, and showing his real emotions when something sad, or annoying happened. It was a rough and ready edit that showed the real life behind his farm, and I’m not sure this could be carried on to the second season unless he moved onto a different aspect of farming. But even then, I don’t believe it would hit the same way.

Clarkson’s Farm, therefore, is a perfectly rounded show that leaves you wanting more. And maybe that’s how it should end?

No, sod that. Write to Amazon and demand a second season!

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
