Watch Vin Diesel Star In Dodge’s Latest Action Packed Commercials

We knew it wouldn’t take long for Dodge to scoop up Vin Diesel with their cars becoming so prominent in the Dominic Toretto fronted Fast and Furious franchise. Finally, after 8 movies, seven including the character, Dominic Toretto, Vin has finally partnered with Dodge and become the face of their latest three adverts.

Vin has already made his passion for muscles cars, Dodge in particular, very evident in past interviews. This passion has been communicated to the screen with Dom using the Dodge Charger as his leading hero car in nearly all the films his character has starred in.

Now, Vin is starring in these three adverts by Dodge both on-screen sitting behind the wheel of a Dodge Challenger SRT, Charger SRT and Durango R/T, and off with a voice over.  He talks about “The Brotherhood of Muscle,” co aligning with the theme of family running throughout the Fast and Furious films.

Dodge explains the adverts as:

“a natural, authentic, seamless partnership as Diesel’s true love of high-performance cars, intensity and pride are also brand passion points.”

I feel like these adverts are a middle finger to those who said how the Dodge Demon is a menace to society and should be banned from public roads, with the message from these adverts being that Dodge is an untamed, domestic animal, completely fulfilling the idea of what a muscle car company should be.

Following on from Dodge’s farewell to the Viper video, these beautiful adverts with their raucous soundtracks has got me wanting to own a piece of Detroit muscle history. If only I could get that in the UK. Fancy sending a few press cars, Dodge?

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
