Watch The 1000 HP Hennessey Jeep Gladiator Maximus Fly Into Production

Texas-based Hennessey Performance Engineering knows that if you want to fly, but don’t have the time to get a pilot’s license, their new MAXIMUS 1000 Jeep Gladiator package is for you. The first four of 24 MAXIMUS Jeeps have just been completed, and showcased in an awesome new desert test posted to their Youtube.

This absolute unit will run you a cool $225k, which includes a new 2020 Jeep Gladiator donor-truck, and then an unbelievable list of upgrades. Hennessey starts by swapping in a 6.2L Supercharged Hellcat V8, with an engine upgrade that gets it up to the titular 1000 HP and 933 lb-ft of torque!

Of course, you couldn’t add all that unfettered power without bolstering all the other systems of the Jeep. So, HPE adds an upgraded suspension with 6-inches of lift, as well as an 8-speed transmission, and stainless steel exhaust system. It also rides high on a set of Hennessey 20-inch wheels with BFG 20-inch tires.

The Electrical Control Unit, wiring harnesses, radiator, and fuel system all also had to be suped up to handle the intensity offered up by the beastly engine as well. On the styling side (if you don’t consider unimaginable power as style!) they’ve fitted new MAXIMUS bumpers, LED lights, and custom interior leatherwork including Hennessey & MAXIMUS embroidery on the seats. This all is protected by a three-year or 36k-mile warranty.

The very limited supply of MAXIMUS 1000 Gladiators can be bought directly from Hennessey, or through qualified Jeep dealerships. You better be quick with your order, however, because summer’s almost here.
