Watch As A Driver Does Their Best To Catch Their Ferry
I think it’s safe to say that we’ve all seen some pretty stupid things people do when they’re late for something or in a rush, whether its running a red light, or driving over a zebra crossing before the pedestrian has finished crossing, we’ve all seen it.
One thing I bet you haven’t seen is what I’m about to show you right now. Please bask in the glory of the worlds stupidest driver, who was rushing to make their ferry crossing.
To be honest, there really isn’t much you can do if you miss your ferry, it has sailed off and your car can’t float. This driver however, refused to be deterred.
Let’s start at the beginning, we can see the ferry as it leaves port, everyone is getting out of their cars and beginning their journey. There is at least 40 feet between the boat and land.
It’s difficult to see here, but on the next image you can see a vehicle (circled in red) approaching the area where you would embark onto the ferry (if it hadn’t already set sail). You and I can both make the simple assumption that the driver is too late and they’ve got no hope. They’ll have to wait until the next ferry.. like a sensible person.
Surely not I hear you scream, they’re not going to try and make the jump are they? Well I hate to break it you but yes, yes they are. The driver of what looks like a camper van takes flights from land and flies towards the ferry. Thankfully the crowd noticed this idiot and quickly disperses.
The vehicle lands on the ferry and is completely flattened. There is no telling whether the driver is okay or not but that crash must have hurt to say the least.
Credit where credit is due, the driver did very well to even land on the moving ferry but putting themselves and the other passengers in such a massive amount of danger, just wasn’t worth it. We hope the driver escaped unharmed but we also hope they’ll be having their driving license taken off them. You can see the full video below:
