Travis Pastrana Just Crushed A Hillclimb Record In His Crazy 600HP Subaru

Travis Pastrana, Subaru Rally Team USA driver, smashed the record held by his teammate David Higgins on Mount Washington at the end of last week.

He clocked a ridiculous run of 5:44.72 in his 600hp Subaru, beating Higgins’ record of 6:09.09. However, this time, Pastrana’s car had nearly twice the potency of Higgins’ car, but unfortunately, we’re unable to tell you what Higgins could do with a similar powered car because he crashed at the Cragway turn on his first run.

This ultimately led to him being out of the event.

We’re waiting with bated breath to see what Higgins can do on his next run with a more ‘able’ car. Unfortunately we have to wait until 2020 for him to return, but rest assured, we’ll be watching.

I think it’s safe to say, these guys have balls of steel!

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps.

He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX.
