Tom Brady is off to Tampa Bay after a 20 year tenure with the New England Patriots, but this isn’t the only change that the veteran quarterback is making in 2020 as he is also selling a beloved member of his family…his car.
The car in question is a Cadillac Escalade ESV from 2017 and as you can imagine, it is far from stock, with the vehicle being modified to a luxurious extent by the California based Becker Automotive Design. The car was clearly very important to Brady as he is quoted as saying on the Becker website:
“Parting ways with my Becker ESV won’t be easy. From day one it became my sanctuary from the outside noise. I took pride in picking out all the customizations of the ESV; from the trim of the seats to the color of the rug. With such limited time in my busy schedule, the ESV gave me those extra minutes to study my playbook, make phone calls and be with my family. Immediately my productivity went up and my stress came down. I hope the next owner will take great care of her; she will always be a part of the Brady family.”
From the images you can see that this thing is far from normal, but what exactly makes it so special? Well to start the whole vehicle is just.. well bigger, with it being 20 inches longer and 5 inches higher. In the rear of the Escalade there are five seats, two of which featuring reclining seats and leg rests. Being the incredibly successful footballer that Brady is, it comes as no surprise that the interior also features two absolutely huge screens in the form of a 32 inch HD LCD screen as well as a 12 inch screen in the rear.
Apparently, this beastly Escalade set Brady back a massive $350,000 back when he bought it and now Brady is asking for the princely sum of $300,000 for the pleasure of YOU owning it. A fair deal? Well it looks pretty luxurious and has only done 13,000 miles but it still costs as much as a house.. you decide – I can’t afford it anyway!
