This Special Edition Quicksilver Toyota Supra Is Being Sold For $500k

Toyota has been receiving mixed reviews lately since the release of the A90 GR Supra, however, this mint condition 1998 Supra has been listed for sale and is hopefully acting as a reminder of what a ‘true’ Toyota can be. But how much dough would you part with for the perfect Supra?

Listed at $499,999 on carsales.com, this really would need to be something special. It is.

This is 1 of 24 Quicksilver JZA80 Supras manufactured back in the late 90s. It retains all of its VIN tags and has all original parts – including its special edition silver paint. If you thought it looked like it hadn’t seen the open road, then you’d be right. It has a mere 37,257 miles on the clock, very low for this age of vehicle. If you’re a true fan of the Supra, this is surely something to get excited about.

Saying that, this news is going to be very difficult to digest for the person who recently paid $2.1 million for a Supra at the first auction at Barrett-Jackson, even if it was for charity – that has got to hurt!

So what do you think? Would you say $499,999 is worth it, or would you rather choose the new A90 at a much lower, but still crazy price?
