This Could Be The Pagani Huayra’s Replacement – The Pagani C10

Only days ago we were treated to a potential teaser to a new Koenigsegg after the company uploaded an image to its Instagram account disguised as a New Year’s resolution. Well, it looks as though the good news isn’t stopping there, with a new leak possibly showing us the car that will be replacing the Pagani Huayra.

Expected to be the new Pagani C10, an image of the car was leaked online by Instagram user @gol.ldigger. Now a couple of years behind its original planned debut of 2019 at the Geneva Motor Show, it’s not been marked down for a 2022 release with deliveries beginning the following year.

With it obviously being a continuation of the Huayra’s design language, it retains the teardrop, aerodynamic shape of the hypercar, but this time the individual airbrakes on the front have been deleted. It does look like the airbrakes remain at the rear, as does its muscled arches and rear quarters. In fact, the strong line that runs down the side of the car reminds us of the coveted Zonda.

Looking closely at the roof you can see two glass panes and a small air intake sitting in the centre.

According to sources at CarScoops, the image doesn’t quite reflect how long the car is. These same sources also say that the engine will be an AMG-sourced V12 – not a surprise – and that it could even get a manual gearbox.

With a rumoured price tag of €3 million, it’s thought that Pagani will be building 99 C10s. I’ll certainly be interested in finding out more from official sources.

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
