The Lamborghini Urus Looks Better As A Pickup Truck

We’ve heard a lot of opinions on the Lamborghini Urus. Most bad, some good… but mostly bad. But, like we’ve said many times before, the Urus is simply a cash cow to fund further sporty Lamborghinis, and that is never a bad thing. But what if the Urus was something a bit different? What if it wasn’t yet another boring SUV, but instead a pickup truck?

The image above is produced by the very talented Rain Prisk, who has made the design ultimately more attractive by chopping the end off and installing a truck bed behind the front seats. The ride-height has been increased, the stance widened, and some fat mudder tyres wrapped around the matte black wheels.

The main reason for me personally not liking the design of the original Urus is its rear end, but obviously the pickup has improved that massively. Now it’s longer, and the curved arse is replaced by a more angular rear-end – perfect.

Now, I’m not saying this will actually happen or that Lamborghini will actually make it, but it would be one hell of a truck. Its 4.0-litre Twin-Turbo V8 is able to send 641 horsepower to each of its wheels. And with its stock wheels it can push itself to 62mph in just 3.6 seconds and carry on to 189mph. Larger wheels will obviously affect this, but it would still be a spec not to mess with.

Please Lambo, make this…

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
