The Czinger 21C Hybrid Hypercar Will Reach 62mph In Just 1.9 Seconds

This year’s Geneva Motor Show is shaping up to be another great one, with a number of new and innovative companies adding their products to the mix of legacy automakers. One of these new companies is Czinger. We’ve already told you about their new model, the 21C, and the teaser they released not long ago, but now we’ve got the full low down on this exciting new hypercar.

The Czinger – silent ‘C’ – 21C is developed and constructed in Los Angeles, California, and uses a hybrid powertrain to produce an Earth-shattering 1,233 bhp. 0-62 mph comes in at an even more staggering 1.9 seconds, making it one of the fastest road cars in the world alongside the likes of the Rimac C_Two and second-generation Tesla Roadster. Unlike those cars listen, the 21C still holds onto a combustion engine.

In the second teaser video posted by the company, we get to hear this well-tuned hybrid powertrain doing its thing on the open road and putting its four-figure output through its rubber. It takes place at Alameda Naval Base in San Francisco, and certainly makes us excited for its full reveal at the Geneva Motor Show on March 3 where its full specification will be unveiled.

Hopefully, the American company is able to tell us much more about its powertrain, aerodynamics, and production figures, as well as the price. You know, just so I know for sure that I can’t afford one.

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
