Paramedics Blocking Driveway With Ambulance Surprised By Incredible Note
The internet is often plagued with horrible stories of ambulance paramedics being wrongly shouted at for blocking in people while they go about doing their jobs saving people’s lives. So when we saw this on Twitter, we had to spread some nice news for a change.
Dewi Lloyd, paramedic for the Welsh Ambulance Service, found this incredible note on his ambulance which was blocking the driveway of a patient he was treating. It’s too common for paramedics to find notes complaining about where they park these days, so to find a note thanking them was a surprise.

The note read, “Thank you for blocking my driveway to save a life, refreshments on me.” Alongside the note was a five pound note. The tweet from Lloyd has gone viral, with almost 500 retweets and over 1,000 likes.
This should serve as a message to all of us: our neighbours are much more important than getting off of our driveways. The tweet was met with some lovely replies.

There are some decent folk about. It would be different if the people who put the nasty letters on needed an ambulance.
