Naran Reveals Its 1,000HP Hypercar Coupe With Mind Bending Performance

Naran Automotive has given us a lot to think about over the last year, with them teasing its front-mid-engined hypercar a few months back. It was quite the promise, and as with most other startups, we struggle to believe the hype.

But now we have more information about this new hypercar, which is promising to be a 2+2 GT3-inspired racing car for the road – I know, we’ve all heard that one before. It will be powered by a 5.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, and will apparently produce 1,034 horsepower and 764 lb-ft of torque capable of propelling the car to 60mph in just 2.3 seconds.

With only 49 units being built, this car will be custom-tailored to each lucky owner, to the point where the owner will be able to choose the model name of their purchased car. That’s pretty cool.

The renders of the Naran show a beautiful coupe, with slits down the side and a pointed, angular nose. The rear is also angular, with huge what seem to be exhaust exits and a large downforce-producing wing and diffuser. Even the 22-inch hybrid-carbon wheels look like they could inflict a serious injury. The man behind this, Jowyn Wong of Wyn Design, has put his name to several other incredible looking cars such as the Apollo IE and the De Tomaso P72.
