Meet The Henessey Goliath 6×6 – A Chevrolet Based Monster

Apparently one 6×6 isn’t enough for the American tuning company Hennessey. They’ve decided that you should have more than one option if you’re wanting a huge 6×6 to take on your trails, and that only having a Ford available simply wasn’t enough.

They’ve looked towards Chevrolet for their next 6-wheeled behemoth, taking a 2019/20 Silverado, giving it an extra axle, and naming it Goliath. It’s been lifted by eight inches just for that intimidating stance, and 37″ wheels have been bolted on to really show off its towering presence.

This truck isn’t just about aesthetics, though. It’s got an entirely new rear suspension setup, upgraded roll bars, and while its power enhancements aren’t quite up to Hennessey’s usual standards, 450bhp via a new intake and exhaust isn’t to be laughed at. This is more than likely because they’re also offering a 36,000-mile/3 year warranty alongside it.

This truck will be prices at a very high $375,000, which thankfully includes the base Chevrolet, and only 24 will be made. John Hennessey says that one has already been sold. Any guesses?

“Our first Goliath 6X6 is owned by auto enthusiast, Bob Berrard, owner of the largest potato farm in the state of Wisconsin,” said Hennessey.

I’m in the wrong business.

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
