Ken Block’s Gymkhana 10 Includes 5 Cars and Plenty Of Tyre Shredding!
“When you’ve already produced nine of the most action packed, tyre destructive videos in the world, how do you go forward from that?” That’s what was running through my head before I pressed play on the video above. Seeing that it is a near 20 minute video, I made sure I had plenty of time to spare and sat down with a coffee before putting it on the big screen. I was blown away.
Bringing us his incredible precision driving from five different cars in five different countries, Ken Block rips apart tarmac, snow, and dirt. But let’s start from the beginning. Each of his cars are Fords thanks to his sponsorship with them, so welcome a Ford Focus WRC car, the Hoonicorn. the F-150 ‘Hoonitruck’, a Fiesta WRC car, and a Focus World Rallycross machine. We also see the return of the Escort that was burnt to the ground earlier this year.
Each car has their own proving ground: Lulea in Sweden, Detroit, Guanajuato in Mexico, Los Angeles and Shamrock in Texas. But not only does he try new places, but new tricks as well. Including taking the tyres off of the wheels of his Escort, and performing a donut around a pool with another driver – I won’t spoil it by telling you who!
I think it’s safe to say Ken Block has completely outdone himself, and you’re going to love it.
