Ford Dealership Selling a 1200 HP Mustang for $45,000

NOT the Lebanon Ford Mustang ^^^

I’m a Mustang guy; you should all know this by now. I love my Mustang, I love the huge aftermarket, I love the history, and I love the community surrounding the Mustang. Any Mustang news, I basically go nuts over. So imagine what I felt when a friend pointed out this blurb by Lebanon Ford, which is quickly becoming a big name in souped up Mustangs.

Lebanon Ford made waves not too long ago by offering a 727HP Mustang for less than $40K. That is an INSANE deal, especially considering they are basically charging up to nothing for labor (trust me when I say that a supercharger install is no walk in the park). Now Lebanon Ford is upping the ante with 1,200HP for just over $45K.

HOLY MOLY.

From Lebanon Ford:

The LFP Hellion Twin Turbo System has incredible capabilities and some truly impressive specs:

• Twin 62mm Precision Built Turbos

• Turbosmart VEE Port Bypass Valves

• Large Vertical Flow Dual Inlet Intercooler

• Controllable Boost from 5psi to a whooping 30psi!!!

Oh and did I mention it can generate up to 1,200 rear wheel horsepower?

I’m seeing a lot of publications stating that this is Bugatti Veyron levels of power, and while the 1,200HP is impressive, it’s not really Veyron performance if your Mustang explodes the moment you put your foot down. Those seriously considering this obscenely cheap Hellion kit will really want to also consider throwing down more money to get some new tires and beef up that suspension. Maybe tighten up that subframe otherwise you’ll be skipping all over the place off the line.

Honestly, I would pretty much upgrade everything. 1,200HP in a RWD Mustang sounds pretty impossible to control, so you’re going to want to tighten EVERYTHING up, and while you’re at it, you may as well swap out that ridiculous shifter too. I have plans to bump my Mustang up to around 500 RWHP, and I’m already thinking about how to not slip around everywhere. I can’t even begin to imagine 1,200HP.
