Check Out This SEMA-Ready 700HP Custom Ford Mustang GT

Us here at GTN are always excited when we find out someone’s been tinkering with a muscle car. But when we saw this Mustang with its weird looking from wheels and heard about its high power, we had to jump on it.

This car, designed by NASCAR Cup Series driver Ryan Blaney and photographer Larry Chen and built by Galpin Auto Sports, will debut at 1000Bulbs.Com 500 race at Talladega Superspeedway on Sunday, October 13, 2019. But after that, it will make its extremely public debut at the SEMA show on November 5th.

With it being at such a prominent show, it’s a good thing that the car looks great with a red, black and white livery worn by Ford GT that raced at the 1966 Daytona 24 Hours. This car isn’t all eye candy, though. A brand new supercharger ups power to 700hp and 610 lb-ft of torque. This goes through a six-speed transmission and Yokohama Advan rubber to the ground. To match this performance, the V8 sound has been enhanced via a MagnaFlow cat-back exhaust.

700 horses need some good stopping power, so Wilwood performance brakes coupled with ST Suspension XTA Coilovers keep it on the tarmac and out of the grass (or crowds).

The delicious looking wheels are Fifteen52 Podium Super Touring wheels, with the fronts hiding behind a cover of some kind. We doubt this gives any performance increase, but does certainly catch the eye!

MoneyLion’s HERE WE ROAR Sweepstakes is giving away this and three similar Mustangs with the winner also being flown alongside a guest to the Ford Championship Weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway, November 15-17, 2019.

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
