This Is The Most American VW Beetle – God Bless America!

A good friend of mine has a Beetle, and although it may not be loved by Clarkson, the Beetle is a car that I very much enjoy looking at. Its sloping rear, curved bonnet, and the fact it has very little to do with locks.

I love that.

Then I saw this one. Noticed the widened track and wide tyres, the forward opening bonnet, and the fact it has a bloody 502 Chevy big block underneath its flame paint job.

Now this is the kind of Bug I’d want to drive in America. It should in fact be renamed ‘Rhino Beetle’. That sounds a tiny bit more fitting!

At the rear you can just spy a wheelie bar as well – this car is obviously no stranger to a drag strip!

God bless America

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps.

He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX.
