The Audi SQ8 has been given the once over by the famous tuning company ABT Sportsline through various aesthetic and performance orientated improvements. The already powerful SUV gets more power, better handling, and a host of body upgrades.
ABT has disclosed the full details behind tits SQ8 tuning package, with the obvious change being the vast changes to its styling. The front bumper gains a diffusor, as does the rear along with a large extended spoiler and a quad exhaust pipe setup.
The side of the car gets some eye candy too in the form of a selection of aftermarket wheels. Three models are available: GR in glossy black or matte black, HR Aero in dark smoke and HR-F in shadow silver. Each wheel comes in at 22 inches except the HR-F which is also available in 23.
The power upgrade is carried out per request, and features a major jump in power and torque from the 4.0-litre V8 TDI. The stock 429hp is bumped to over 500hp, and 664 lb-ft of torque is increased to 715 lb-ft. These performance enhancements cut 0.2 seconds off of its 0-60mph time, now standing at 4.6 seconds.
Handling is also improved thanks to something called ABT Level Control (ALC), which lowers the air suspension, therefore lowering the centre of gravity. With three modes available, Comfort, Sport, and Loading Level, its cornering performance is upped while its stance is made more aggressive with a drop of 65 mm.
And to make sure it looks just as good inside as it does outside, ABT have installed carbon fibre seat frame covers, door welcome lights, and an aluminium start/stop button.
