22-Year Old Pushes New BMW Into River After Not Being Bought Jaguar Instead

Getting bought a car for your birthday would be the deal of the century, right? It would be even better if it was a BMW – a brand new 3-Series worth at least $30k.

That’s exactly what this man from Yamuna Nagar in India was bought for his 22nd birthday, but instead of being grateful for the fact he now has a new German saloon, he instead through it into a river. According to the news story, 22-year old Akash wanted a Jaguar instead.

“Akash was unhappy with his father for not buying him a Jaguar, He deliberately pushed the luxury vehicle BMW into the river,” local police said regarding the incident.

After the car has sunk and later resurfaced, nearby locals rushed into the river to look for anyone trapped. Thankfully no one was hurt, with the only fatality being the 3-Series.

“The youth was arrogant and kept insisting that he be given a Jaguar as a BMW is a little small for him and his friends inside,” said the local police.

“We would do a preliminary investigation but this seems to be a personal matter.

“We will proceed according to the law.”

The boy’s father was obviously annoyed.

“I wanted to give my son a birthday present.

“We could only afford to give him a BMW, while he kept on insisting that he be given a Jaguar.

“He said the vehicle was too small but we thought he will be okay. We never imagined he would do anything like this.”
