2020 Subaru BRZ Teased Further In New Video Before Release

The new 2020 Subaru BRZ is due for full reveal later this month on November 18, and Subaru is certainly making sure everyone knows with a second teaser now being released to make us in Europe even more annoyed that it won’t be coming to these shores.

What we understand about this new model is that Subaru has modified the existing chassis, whilst retaining the car’s idea of low weight and high agility fun. There is also an engine change coming to the model, with rumours of this being a 2.4-litre boxer engine, either with or without a turbo. The first teaser was void of any turbo noise, but this second video hints at a possible jab of forced induction.

A turbocharged 2.4-litre boxer from the likes of the Subaru Liberty and Outback would see the new BRZ with something around 260 horsepower and 277 lb-ft. None of this is confirmed, however.

Watch the teaser below, and get ready for a much-needed information outburst on the 18th.

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
