The Grand Tour Season 3: Tent Filming Location and Dates Revealed

We can now reveal that the legendary Grand Tour tent will be returning to Oxford for filming at The Great Tew Estate, just like Amazon did for Season 2 of the motoring show.

It will be used for filming on average one day a week for a maximum of ten days over an 8 week period. This hints at at least ten episodes for Season 3 if you include the Columba special episode with no tent segments.

It has of course come under scrutiny from people who live around the location as not only will it increase traffic levels, but may be noisy and could be ‘fatal’ to walkers, horse riders, and cyclists. I must stress that is the local’s words, not ours.

Filming will take place between now and December. We’ll make sure we keep you updated on everything Grand Tour related including tickets and any potential events. But until then, check out our Grand Tour episode guide. Just click the big button below.
