Clarkson, Hammond and May will be returning to our screens this Christmas for The Grand Tour Season 3 on Amazon Prime, which will be the home for the three presenters for years to come.

According to Amazon, the trio will be ditching the tent, instead just focussing on high budget adventures around the world. This means the end of the Eboladrome, the end of the tent, and the end as the live shows as we know it! Therefore, the end of an era.

“There are only so many times you can watch a BMW go round the track,” Jeremy Clarkson says. “It’s the end of an era.”

Season 5 has also been confirmed, as have four special episodes a year. And when asked about a budget, Clarkson replied with, “Marvel will be jealous of our budgets”.

So great news for lovers of The Grand Tour, and great news for us! Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!

This is great news! Ever since the beginning of T.G., the road trip specials were my favorite! Now basically 2 whole upcoming seasons of that… the sooner you get them to me, the better! Grand Tour fan for life here!

That would be all well and good IF you could present the programs on the time lines you have established . The guys are fun , but , when you postpone the release date some of us move on to other things . Road Kill and motor trend are good examples
