Jeremy Clarkson And Piers Morgan Finally Make Nice

Piers Morgan and Jeremy Clarkson have been at each other’s throats for the better part of a decade. Their feud sits atop history’s greats; the Greeks vs Trojans, Allies vs Axis…none of these have anything on Clarkson vs Morgan (not really, but still).

In fact, the feud even got physical in 2004 at the British Press Awards where Clarkson ended up with a broken finger. In a following interview, Clarkson showed some remorse, even admitting “It’s the first time I’ve hit anybody ever.”

In the years following their 2004 altercation, Morgan even challenged Clarkson to a charity boxing match, though Clarkson was always too busy to take part.

In 2015, the seemed to bury the hatchet, and it seems that peace has held to to this day.

In an Instagram post that went up yesterday, Piers Morgan posted a picture of Jeremy and himself shaking hands at St. Tropez with the caption “Bumped into an old mate in St Tropez last night and we didn’t even punch each other.”

Comments on Morgan’s IG post were positive, even comparing the picture to seeing Al Pacino and Robert De Niro in the same room (which happened in the 1995 film Heat).

Peace between enemies is nice and all, but come on guys…some of us still want to see a boxing match between Piers Morgan and Jeremy Clarkson! I can personally think of very few things more entertaining than a middle aged slap fight, so let’s make it happen!
