Hammond Almost Involved In Another Almost-Fatal Accident

Amazon has released behind the scenes footage from the trio’s time in Colorado where they drove their three Jaguars down the side of a very slippery and dangerous snowy mountain for Season 2.

The clip shows just how frightening the film was as Hammond careers towards the edge of the mountain to what would have been a very long and fatal  fall.

“I don’t like it!” Hammond shouts to Clarkson and May as he stops beside their Jaguars before they start to discuss just how difficult it is to control their cars on the slippery snowy surface.

After some inaudible sounds from Hammond erupt regarding how scary the whole scenario is, Clarkson describes the whole thing very simply:

“Turns out skiing on skis is more controllable and faster,” he says.

“I’m going to wake up screaming,” Richard replies with his head buried in his hands.

“We didn’t like that! We didn’t like any of that last bit!” Jeremy insists. And guess what? I don’t blame them at all. From their point of view, that’s bloody scary! Sometimes we forget just how much danger they put themselves in for our viewing pleasure. We must remember that unlike action films, this isn’t CGI. So stay safe out there guys! We want more seasons after this!
