The Grand Tour

The Grand Tour-Season 2, Episode 5 Preview

I suppose this means there’s no two-part special like Namibia from last year? That’s really a shame because that was one of the highlights of the season for me, but either way, at least we have a new episode to look forward to.

In Episode 5 of The Grand Tour, Jeremy decides that he needs to make a Ken Block styled Gymkhana video, so instead of going for a custom made course or city streets, he instead opts to perform on a British farm in an old Subaru. Jeremy’s efforts are then shown by May and Hammond to the audience in the tent as a number of outtakes.

Elsewhere in the episode, James heads to the Eboladrome to test out the Volkswagen Up GTI. On the surface, the car doesn’t look very interesting at all, but who knows what shenanigans are planned!

On the other side of the world, Richard heads off to Dubai to test out a high-speed mini-tank looking vehicle called the Ripsaw. Presumably, t5his will include the footage we saw on YouTube last year of Richard driving through a Dubai mall in the Ripsaw.

Celebrity Face-Off will feature the world’s fastest person with a failed early career in a band, which includes Dominic Cooper going up against comedian Bill Bailey.

Cars, the Buffalo Bills, video games, comics, sandwiches, jelly beans, and the shooting star press; these are the things that Tony loves (in addition to his family, of course). When he's not spending his time writing tech reviews for theslanted.com, Tony puts his lifetime love of muscle cars to use on his 2015 Mustang GT. Tony's top three favorite cars are the 1973 Mustang Mach 1, Ferrari 458, and Aston Martin DBS.
