Here Are Some Fun Facts About Jeremy Clarkson

Every week since 2002 (possibly even longer than that!), we have been watching Jeremy Clarkson on our television screens, waxing poetic about cars and shouting at things. Throughout the past 15 years, we have learned a lot of about what makes this man tick, but we don’t really know him at all, do we?

In a rather random post yesterday, The Sun has decided to fill us in on some random tidbits on Jeremy’s life, such as his age. There are most likely more hardcore Jeremy fans out there that know his exact age, but I sure as hell didn’t. All I can tell you is that he’s fifty-something-ish.

It turns out that Jeremy is 57 years old, having been born on April 11th, 1960 in Doncaster, West Riding, Yorkshire. His mother, Shirley, was a teacher and his father, Edward, was a traveling salesman. It’s a rather inauspicious beginning for one of the louder TV personalities on our screens.

Every wanted to know Jeremy’s net worth? Well, now you know; it is £30 million, well above Richard Hammond’s £20 million and James May’s £9 million. The boys’ company (along with producer Andy Wilman, made about £8 million in profits from the first season of The Grand Tour.

In case you were wondering, we have some info on Jeremy’s lovely lady, Lisa Hogan, as well. Ms. Hogan is 46, and the two lovebirds made their first red carpet appearance at the GQ Men Of the Year Awards last September.

And finally, the moment we’ve all been waiting for; what does Jeremy Clarkson drive? The short answer is “a lot,” but here are a few that Jezza has had the pleasure of owning throughout the years:

– Range Rover TDV8 Vogue SE
– Ford Escort RS Cosworth
– Ferrari F355
– Volvo XC90
– Ford GT
– Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder
– Mercedes-Benz 600 Grosser
– Alfa Romeo GTV6
– Aston Martin Virage

So there you have it! Some random fact about Jeremy. Now your Friday is complete.

Cars, the Buffalo Bills, video games, comics, sandwiches, jelly beans, and the shooting star press; these are the things that Tony loves (in addition to his family, of course). When he's not spending his time writing tech reviews for theslanted.com, Tony puts his lifetime love of muscle cars to use on his 2015 Mustang GT. Tony's top three favorite cars are the 1973 Mustang Mach 1, Ferrari 458, and Aston Martin DBS.
