Every Fathers’ Worst Nightmare Comes True For Jeremy Clarkson

I’m a father to two beautiful kids; a 3-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl. They’re still a bit young for this sort of thing to happen to me, but in the future, I can pretty much guarantee you that I never ever want any details about their sex life. I’m not an idiot, I know they’re going to do it later in life, I just don’t want to know.

It’s akin to finding out about your parents’ sex life. You know they did it; after all, you’re sitting here, alive…proof that at one point, your parents did indeed get busy. Just spare me the details.

Apparently, Jeremy Clarkson met that nightmare face to face when he read his daughter Emily’s new book “Can I Speak to Someone in Charge?” Let’s just say there’s a chapter titled “Dear Boys…” and according to Emily:

“That chapter is all the things I think boys should know about girls but not what my father should know about me.

I didn’t think about father when I was writing it, but I was like ‘Oh no…’ when I handed it over to him.

But we just don’t talk about that chapter.”

Awkward.

This somewhat reminds me of the Top Gear episode when Aaron Paul guest starred and Jeremy mentioned that Paul was his daughter’s favorite actor, prompting the actor to reply “I LOVE your daughter.”

To which Jeremy, ever the protective and loving father, replied:

“No you don’t.”

Cars, the Buffalo Bills, video games, comics, sandwiches, jelly beans, and the shooting star press; these are the things that Tony loves (in addition to his family, of course). When he's not spending his time writing tech reviews for theslanted.com, Tony puts his lifetime love of muscle cars to use on his 2015 Mustang GT. Tony's top three favorite cars are the 1973 Mustang Mach 1, Ferrari 458, and Aston Martin DBS.
