Clarkson, Hammond and May Spotted In Wales for Possible Grand Tour Filming

According to the The Brecon and Radnor Express, Clarkson, Hammond and May have been spotted in  Crickhowell, Wales on what looks to be a day of filming for The Grand Tour

Kier Hughes of Glangrwyney took a selfie with Richard Hammond and a few of his friends outside of Crickhowell Conservative Club which has been closed for a number of years, where he spotted The Grand Tour presenter driving a white truck which Hammond was later photographed in.

Talking to The Brecon and Radnor Express, Kier said this:

“As soon as I heard about it I went up to the Con’ Club. Richard Hammond was there and Jeremy Clarkson as well, but I didn’t have a picture of him I think he was hiding behind a wall.

“I didn’t really have a chance to ask them what it was all about, I think they were still on set.

“I was just walking through town, by the Beaufort pub, and I think someone passing said they were filming so I walked up there to have a look.

“Richard Hammond was fine, he seemed a bit busy, but was laughing and joking.

“I do watch The Grand Tour now and again.”

The truck in the photo above is a Ford Ranger with what looks to be a blue VW Amarok behind it. Judging from a recent DriveTribe post by James May, the blue VW is being driven by Clarkson, and May is driving a Mercedes shown in the video linked above. The exact model can’t be determined, but I would take a guess at Mercedes’ new pickup truck, the X Class.

Stay tuned as we keep you up to date on all of The Grand Tour Season 3 filming!

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
