VIDEO: Biker Headbutts And Kills Seagull During MotoGP Race

Sometimes things happen in racing where people get hurt or animals make their way onto the track. Italian motorcyclist Andrea Iannone was involved in something like this when a seagull which was stood on the track made its way into the line of his bike.

As soon as the group of bikes got close, the seagull flew off into the way of the biker’s helmet, subsequently getting hit and killed on the Australian MotoGP track.

He said the following after the race:

“The seagull waited for the kiss,” he said. “It was difficult but it was better for him to fly up before I arrive because if he didn’t it would keep him near the front tyre.”
