Dodge Challenger Hellcat Gets Widebody Treatment

Ever looked at the Demon and wondered what makes it so aggressively good looking? You don’t have to stare at the drag ready weapon for too long before you realise. It has fender flares. Wide, aggressive haunches that not only look the part, but means its extra wide tyres can fit underneath.

Dodge have realised how good it looks and are now allowing us pesky simpletons who don’t own one of the quickest cars in the world, a chance to have a slightly slower one, but one that looks as mean an as tormented as the former.

This is the Challenger Hellcat Widebody. It is 3.5 inches wider, houses 305 section tyres, and because of the extra grip, is now a 10 second car with a quarter mile time of 10.9 seconds and a 0-60 time of 3.4 seconds. It’s also worth noting, that these tyres and flares are straight off of the Demon.

It’s going to have a RRP of $71,495 compared to the $84,995 of the Demon. But that is still over $6000 dollars more than a standard Challenger Hellcat.

Are these modifications worth the £6000? Let me know in the comments below!

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
