This LSX Swapped S2000 Looks Just As Mental As It Sounds!

Yes I know – another LS swap into something Japanese. But you really have to question, who the hell is brave enough to do this?!

Not only does it make an incredible noise, but it looks the part, too! I love the look of an LS packed tightly into an engine bay that wasn’t made to home the beast. The shining turbochargers and piping just put the cherry on top. As does the intercooler.

Apart from looking like an extra from the latest Mad Max film, according to the owner it’s going to be used primarily on the streets. Although it’s yet to by dyno’d surely that thing is putting four-figure numbers to the ground. It would be a shame if this didn’t rip up a drag strip and a track at least once in its life.

A stock S2000 engine weighs in at 326 lbs. The LSX weighs 568 (plus the turbo parts). Because of this I’m not sure how well this car could do on a track, but in a straight line this engine and car combination will work wonders!

So play the video, sit back, and enjoy the rumble of American muscle working in harmony with Japanese metal!

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
