This Is The Greatest Sounding Peugeot You’ll Ever Hear!

In today’s roundup, we give you the auditory onslaught of the Peugeot 208 208 T16, the new Audi RS4 with a couple of turbos but a smaller engine, a Honda that looks like a VW, and the future of McLaren now they’ve… wait for it… left Honda.

The Greatest Sounding Peugeot You’ll Ever Hear

Driven by Sebastian Loeb himself, this Peugeot 208 T16 rally car carries the All Time Overall record at Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. With a power to weight ratio of 875Hp:875Kg and a 3.2-litre twin turbo motor, this car doesn’t just look the business, but it sounds the business, too.

What Do You Get When Honda Tries To Make A Retro City Car?

What do you get? Well, a classic VW apparently? Although if we travel back into Honda’s history, it becomes apparent that this car isn’t a copy of an old VW or Peugeot, but actually a throwback to the Honda CVCC. I personally think it looks remarkable! What do you think?

The New Audi RS4 Swaps Its V8 For A Twin Turbo V6

Engines have a habit of getting smaller these days, all for the reduction of emissions. Thankfully, we know how to use these lovely little balls of technology called turbos to produce more power. This twin-turbo 2.9-litre V6 produces 444bhp and 442lb-ft of torque. This results in a 0-60mph time of 4.1 seconds. Not bad going if you ask me.

McLaren Leaves Honda Partnership

McLaren haven’t been anywhere near the podium for some years now, and it’s no secret that Alonso was starting to fidget. McLaren have finally announced that they will no longer be using Honda engines, and that they will be moving on to Renault instead. This will be an interesting move, especially as engine regulations will change for 2021. How do you think it will pan out? Is this a good move for McLaren? Let me know in the comments below.

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
