Scene 3: Speed Cameras
Jeremy gives us a chat about the amazing roads in Scotland and a highway that stretches 99 miles and is littered with speed cameras. He also does a great movie impression.
General Trivia Starts at 0:04:26
Jeremy’s impassioned speech about speed cameras is of course inspired by the legendary Scottish film Gregory’s Girl. Not really, it’s Braveheart.
Scene 5: The Lexus!
Here Jeremy tests out the new Lexus GS F. A possible alternative to a fast German saloon car? We’ll soon find out.
General Trivia Starts at 0:05:23

General Trivia Starts at 0:15:21
The legend of the Loch Ness Monster seems to date back to 1933, much like Richard’s jacket.
Scene 7: Car Talk
A conversation about cars like these that are becoming extinct and for the most part, that isn’t a bad thing.
General Trivia Starts at 0:17:11
Richard Hammond loves the Citroen Saxo VTS so much that after this show was filmed, he went out and bought one.
Scene 8: The Bentley
We are in the ever so beautiful Germany for this weeks road trip. James has chosen to bring the new Bentley Bentayga.

Scene 8: Jeremy is Silent…
For once in the history of…well the world, Jeremy can’t think of anything to say during this part of their trip. James on the other hand can’t stop talking about his Bentley.
General Trivia Starts at 0:23:52
The stereo in James’s Bentley is indeed extremely powerful, but it’s also an option. One which, in the UK, costs £6300.
Scene 8: A Drag Race
Of course a part of all of their journeys (pretty much) the boys have a drag race. Also thrown into this race is the new BMW X5M.
General Trivia Starts at 0:27:55
The BMW X5M has a 4.4-litre twin turbo V8 making 567 horsepower. BMW say it can go from 0-62 in 4.2 seconds and on to a limited top speed of 155mph.
Scene 8: James is Fact-ing Again…
Before they begin, Richard gets excited thinking its a “British vs Germany” race. James of course shuts him down with the facts that it would actually India vs Germany race…

General Trivia Starts at 0:37:49
Tim Burton – Director, producer, writer and unexpected submarine enthusiast.
Scene 10: Filler Convo
Since our celebrity didn’t end up making it to the show they had to fill in the time. So they strike up a conversation about cars with launch control and how it’s “pointless” to have. And we get to enjoy a clip of a beautiful Porsche 911 GT3 revving and launching….mmmmm.
General Trivia Starts at 0:40:10
The car in the launch control film is a Porsche 911 GT3.
Scene 11: A Rally Race!
The end point of their trip was supposed to be the Nürburgring but they trusted directions to James, so they ended up in Nuremberg instead. So Richard finds them a track nearby (a massive quarry) and they have a rally style race there instead. Who will win this one? Jeremy…Jeremy does by cheating.
General Trivia Starts at 0:51:11
Aggregates fact: The setting for the SUV race is one of the biggest limestone quarries in Europe.
